Yuan Yuan Alice Shi, R. Ac
Hi, my name is Yuan Yuan (Alice) Shi. My journey in holistic health began in 2012 in China, where I trained and worked as a massage therapist specializing in traditional techniques such as Tui Na, acupressure, and Shiatsu. These practices introduced me to the core philosophy of Chinese medicine — the belief that true health comes from balance.
Driven by a desire to deepen and broaden my understanding of the body, I continued my masage studies in 2023 at Wellington College, where I trained in Western techniques including musculoskeletal manipulation, therapeutic stretching, facial release, and lymphatic drainage. Integrating both Eastern wisdom and Western clinical approaches allows me to see the body from multiple perspectives and create treatments tailored to each individual.
Now practicing as a qualified acupuncturist and RMT , I am deeply guided by the principles of Yin and Yang and the understanding that imbalance can manifest as pain, dysfunction, or disease. Rather than treating symptoms alone, I aim to restore harmony within the body, supporting natural healing and long-term well-being.
My goal is to help my clients not only become pain-free, but also move better, feel balanced, and reconnect with their bodies.
Outside of my practice, I enjoy hiking, working out, cooking, and reading — activities that help me maintain my own balance in life.
It is always a pleasure to support you on your journey toward health and harmony.
