Margot (Maggie) Effler, Registered Massage Therapist
Maggie graduated from Wellington College in 2016. She has a passion for helping people, and seeks to help improve her client's daily lives through goal-oriented treatment plans- whether that goal is relaxation, pain relief, increased range of motion, injury rehabilitation, or just being able to lift your arm high enough to reach that item off the higher shelf without pain. She has taken additional training in rib mobilization, hot stone massage, cranial therapy, manipulative therapy, and palliative care. She is also a certified birth doula, lactation counselor, and childbirth educator. She has worked with clients experiencing the effects of MS, cancer, strokes, and spinal injury, and has also worked with clients in end-of-life hospice care. Her massage treatment style utilizes moderate pressure (and will adjust to your comfort level), along with pinpoint deeper work only where and when it's needed. In her downtime, Maggie runs a monthly Dungeons & Dragons campaign, plays video games, drinks a lot of coffee, and spends time with her kids (when they'll admit they know her). She also has an amazing sense of humor. Maggie looks forward to treating you at Massage Addict Kildonan Crossing !
