Zhen (Zoey) Wang, R. Ac
Zhen (Zoey) Wang is a licensed acupuncturist and RMT that specializes in treating pain. She uses acupuncture and dry needling and Tui-Na manual therapy to safely and effectively get her patients out of pain and back to health. Acupuncture restores energy flow while dry needling relieves muscles pain and tightness by releasing trigger points. She mainly specializes in holistic balance acupuncture (HBA). The holistic approach recognises that the dimensions of health are interconnected and strives to achieve balance and harmony within the body through a multifaceted approach. The H.B.A. technique is safe and does not hurt.
With HBA, every client’s experience is different depending on their conditions. During treatments, this technique uses 18 counts to balance the muscles. Muscle twitches and slight soreness is common and expected. These affects may last up to 2 to 3 days or 1-2 weeks.
