Michelle Leighton, Registered Massage Therapist

Michelle is a graduate from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy Cambridge campus. She is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Michelle has been registered with the province of Ontario since 2014. Michelle is very dedicated and passionate about what she does in her work as a Registered Massage Therapist. She strongly believes massage is a viable modality for enhancing overall health and well-being.

Michelle is certified in hot stone massage since 2014. Her focus is a therapeutic treatment consisting of General Swedish massage techniques which assist with helping decrease pain, reduce stress and help to minimize headaches; while improving range of motion, increasing circulation, improving tissue health and promoting overall health and wellness. She has an interest in upper back/neck issues, Pre-natal massage and low back concerns including sacroiliac joint dysfunction and sciatica.

Michelle is focused on providing each and every one of her clients with a safe and effective treatment. She is a very enthusiastic and goal oriented RMT and is very eager to help you reach your health goals and improve your quality of life.

Nicolette Sahner, Registered Massage Therapist

Nicolette has been an R.M.T for over 18 years. She brings extensive clinical experience from a variety of fields, therapeutically treating conditions such as repetitive strain injuries, acute neck problems and injuries, headaches, shoulder dysfunctions, lower back pain and conditions, sports massage and prevention of muscular conditions. Nicolette also brings experience from spa settings and can provide a wonderful relaxation massage that helps restore the body, manage stress and improve overall well being. Her approach to treatment is to create an effective treatment plan that looks to resolve the source of the concern. She will include techniques from the extensive 2200 hour Massage Therapy Program as well as from her continued studies. Nicolette has completed advanced courses in Active release technique (A.R.T), sports massage, myofascial release and T.M.J dysfunction.

Oksana Balamut, Registered Massage Therapist

Before becoming an RMT, Oksana worked in the IT field. During that time, she discovered the healing power of Massage Therapy and that drove her decision to become a Massage Therapist.

She graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2017 where she developed skills in Swedish relaxation massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, remedial exercises, and in treating conditions related to stress, poor posture, and chronic pain. Oksana specializes in Swedish relaxation massage, prenatal massage, children and dealing with pain relief.

Ram Roque, Registered Massage Therapist

Ram graduated from Kikkawa College in 2017. He specializes in therapeutic massage, particularly deep tissue, trigger point therapy and Myofascial Cupping. He also gives great relaxation treatments. He is treatment-oriented and has worked with a wide range of injuries such as tension headaches, fibromyalgia and TMJ disfunctions. He uses a variety of methods tailoring his approach to best suit client needs.

Ellen Scott, Registered Massage Therapist

Ellen Scott has many ties to our local community and is an enthusiastic sports fan. As a retired teacher in Waterloo region, Massage Therapy is a second career for Ellen. She graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, Cambridge campus in 2019 with exceptional skills in General Swedish Massage. Ellen uses GSM techniques to release tension in muscles, increase range of motion and reduce pain, and is passionate about helping her clients to stay active and continue to enjoy their favorite activities throughout their life.

Ellen is well-known in the local Masters Artistic Swimming community, so she has strong hands and can deliver deep tissue treatments effectively. Ellen is a lifelong learner that is continually upgrading her RMT qualifications and deepening her knowledge base.

John Paul Mitchell, Registered Massage Therapist

John Paul is a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. John Paul specializes in deep tissue work, using strength and precision to help relieve the pain and tension. He is also happy to provide treatments that promote relaxation, circulation, and repair.

John Paul also has an extensive background in martial arts and strength training. Working with athletes for many years has given him a very good understanding of human kinetics.

Maggie Kuepfer, Registered Massage Therapist    

Maggie graduated from Trios College in 2021. Maggie believes in the power of healing through massage and has had a passion for massage for most of her life. her focus is healing and wellness. She provides a series of Swedish techniques as well as Trigger Point therapy and Golgi Tendon Origin techniques. She will provide you with beneficial homecare exercises specific to your condition.

Steven LaPointe, Registered Massage Therapist    

As a Registered Massage Therapist, Steven specializes in deep tissue and relaxation massage. He treats various conditions including headaches, piriformis syndrome (sciatica), plantar fasciitis, and postural concerns. His expertise is particularly beneficial for clients who spend extended periods sitting, such as desk workers and drivers. With over a year of experience, Steven has honed his techniques and is passionate about educating clients on the physiology of pain and its alleviation. He collaborates closely with each client to effectively reduce their pain and stress, delivering personalized care during every session. Steven's extensive knowledge and expertise establish him as a dependable therapist fully committed to enhancing his clients' well-being.

Lani Romero, Registered Massage Therapist    

After many years of working in customer service in retail and the financial sector, Lani realized her true passion was working in the area of healing and energy medicine.   A graduate of CCMH (2018), Lani is able to provide a relaxing therapeutic massage and assist you with your aches and pains.  Paving the way for a healthier, happier you by facilitating your body's natural healing capabilities.

Caralyn Anderson, Registered Massage Therapist    

Caralyn graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2018, her focus is the overall wellbeing of her clients. Using a variety of different techniques, she targets both acute and chronic conditions, including sports injuries, manual lymph drainage, sprains and strains, and much more. Working to get her clients on a stable treatment plan focused on maintaining a pain free daily life.

Nadege Ross, Registered Massage Therapist    

Nadege graduated from the massage therapy program at Trios College after finishing her bachelor of science at Wilfrid Laurier University.  She specializes in relaxation treatments that include deep diaphragmatic breathing, and general Swedish massage techniques.  Nadege also has experience with more specialized therapeutic treatments that include trigger point therapy and myofascial release. She believes that there are always multiple avenues to achieve a feeling of wellness and believes in working with you to come up with the most appropriate treatment.

Michelle Wallace, Registered Massage Therapist    

Michelle has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2009. She has worked in both therapeutic and relaxation settings and has evolved her treatment style into a gentle, less aggressive approach to wellness. She has a strong belief that inflammation reduction and increased circulation helps to increase a persons quality of life.

Elliot Stanwick, Registered Massage Therapist    

Elliot is a Registered Massage Therapist and High Honours graduate of the Centennial College Massage Therapy program. He treats general, orthopaedic, and sport-related injuries, and provides preventative healthcare to healthy individuals and athletes.

Trevaughan James, Registered Massage Therapist   

Trevaughan began his education at Wilfrid Laurier University where he completed his Undergrad in Kinesiology. There he found significant interest in the health and rehabilitation of athletes. He then went to further his interest in rehabilitation and graduated from Anderson College in 2022 from the Massage Therapy Program.
 
Trevaughan comes from a sports related background playing Football as a well decorated Defensive Tackle at Laurier University and for the Toronto Argonauts. He specializes in both Athletic injuries as well as General massage. He uses both deep tissue techniques and general Swedish. His goal is to relieve client’s pain and improve the quality of life his clients have while in the recovery process. He also aims to provide a relaxing and therapeutic experience to clients looking for some much-needed RnR!

Kayla Pfeffer, Registered Massage Therapist    

Kayla is a graduate of Fanshawe College and holds an advanced diploma in Massage Therapy. Her primary focus is on therapeutic massage techniques, including Trigger Point Therapy, Fascial Release, and PNF stretching. Kayla is dedicated to delivering personalized sessions tailored to help clients achieve relaxation and alleviate pain. She remains committed to ongoing learning and professional growth with your well-being as her top priority.

Anie Cousineau, Registered Massage Therapist    

Anie Cousineau, RMT is a recent graduate from Trios College where she had the opportunity to work with various members of the public. She can perform a wide range of treatments -  from invigorating sports massages to relaxing general Swedish massages. Through Anie's active listening skills, she is able to work with clients to create the most effective treatment tailored to their needs. Anie has always wanted to have a positive impact on people struggling with their physical and mental health and she is honoured to finally be able to meet this goal.

Linda Mowat, Registered Massage Therapist    

Linda has a bachelor of science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo.  She received her Massage therapy diploma from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2005.  For most of her career Linda has worked in a multidisciplinary clinic focusing on therapeutic treatments.   Her experience and interest in body mechanics give her a unique treatment style.
