Chad Jeffrey Valentine, R. Ac

Chad graduated from the Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (CCTCMA) in 2024 and is a Registered Doctor of Acupuncture with the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAA). He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Lethbridge, where he studied sociology, psychology, and kinesiology.

Chad integrates traditional acupuncture with complementary techniques such as cupping to provide comprehensive care tailored to each client’s needs. He has experience treating a wide range of conditions, including stress, anxiety, depression, chronic and acute pain, arthritis, headaches, shoulder mobility issues, low back tightness and sciatica, and neck tension.

He believes acupuncture can not only alleviate symptoms but also support preventative health by improving the flow of energy and blood throughout the body, promoting balance and overall wellbeing.

Chad’s professional insight is informed by his work with Calgary Transit since 2012, where he developed a deep understanding of the physical effects of prolonged sitting and repetitive strain. He has personally experienced work‑related injuries, which gives him empathy and insight into the persistence and patience required to address postural imbalances and support long‑term recovery.

Committed to holistic wellness, Chad also researches and applies nutritional and physiotherapy‑related strategies to enhance quality of life. He strives to empower his clients by informing them of therapeutic options so they can make confident decisions about their care.
