Our Certified Reflexologists

Jackie Bagley, Certified Reflexologist

Jackie Bagley is a Certified Reflexologist and a graduate with honours from the Academy of Reflexology and Massage. She is a registered member in good standing with NHPC (Natural Health Practitioners of Canada), and also operates a clinic one hour north of Calgary in the Watervalley Mountainview area.

Her passion for reflexology lies in its ability to bring all 11 systems of the body into a state of homeostasis and balance enabling the body to bring healing to where it’s needed. And in its ability to bring relief from pain. It stimulates the meridian and acupressure points of Chinese accupuncture and stimulates and relaxes the nervous system, strengthens the immune system, the respiratory and digestive systems, the circulatory, muscular, skeletal, endocrine/glandular systems as well as the organs, and the reproductive and urinary system.

All of these systems can be accessed through roughly 7200 nerve endings in the feet, all of which correspond to each system of the body. Additional points can be stimulated in the ears, hands and the skull/face. The ear in particular releases its own form of morphine for pain relief. All treatments are done fully clothed.

When not practicing reflexology, Jackie works on Hollywood films remotely having worked on Multi-emmy winning and Oscar nominated productions. Her other passions include snowshoeing in the mountains, volunteering at a horse rescue ranch, and sculpting in her studio as an alumni of the New York Studio School.

Natural health and healing have been the foundation of her approach to life as the offspring of a refugee and immigrant, where natural healing modalities were the only option in the absence of access to medicine.

Her clients have described her approach as : “… a calming presence and explained things as she went along” and “…. wonderful touch and healing hands”."
