Scott Patak, Registered Massage Therapist

Scott has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) for just over 7 years and is a co-owner of the Brantford Massage Addict. He was class Valedictorian from the Canadian Therapeutic College (CTC) in 2008 and soon after became a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Scott continued his studies under Barry Jenings (Osteopath), training in the protocol of Structural Integration. This is a 10 session body of work, primarily focusing on MyoFascial Release (MFR) to realign the body’s posture. Scott can combine MFR within any treatment sessions to help eliminate pain. He has worked at rehab clinics helping people overcome Motor Vehicle Accidents, WSIB claims and common aches and pains. Scott has also spent 3 years working and training other RMT’s in a spa setting. By using a combination of techniques: trigger point, MFR, hydrotherapy, deep tissue, relaxation, hot stones, prenatal and others; Scott will provide you with a treatment plan to help each client achieve their goal in a relaxing and comforting environment.

Stephanie Williams, Registered Massage Therapist

Stephanie graduated from Mohawk College in 2015 and is in good standing with the CMTO. Having experienced Chronic pain herself, Stephanie enjoys helping clients with Chronic pain issues and condition specific pain. With a passion for science and health care, Stephanie thrives on helping clients during the injury rehabilitation stage of their recovery. Stephanie has added TMJ treatments to her modalities. This treatment is composed of working the majority of the muscles in the neck and jaw to release tension that is typically not addressed specifically in other massage treatments. Techniques are performed both inside the mouth and outside to ensure the chewing muscles are properly worked. These treatments work best in a series of 3-8 treatments performed on a weekly schedule. While this treatment may not completely reverse problems in the jaw, it can greatly reduce the symptoms. Stephanie is also certified in Hot Stone, Cupping and Indian head Massage.
