John Paul Mitchell, Registered Massage Therapist
John Paul is a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. John Paul specializes in deep tissue work, using strength and precision to help relieve the pain and tension. He is also happy to provide treatments that promote relaxation, circulation, and repair.
John Paul also has an extensive background in martial arts and strength training. Working with athletes for many years has given him a very good understanding of human kinetics.
Jennifer Underhill, Registered Massage Therapist
Jennifer graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2006. With her decade of massage experience, she brings with her the knowledge and passion for treating clients of all ages and various conditions. Also, with a background in spa management and as a therapist, Jennifer's therapeutic treatments have a relaxing touch to benefit her clients overall health and wellbeing. Jennifer has recently returned from working overseas for several years and is eager to incorporate her worldly travels into her treatments and build long lasting therapeutic relationships with her clients.
Colleen Thom, Registered Massage Therapist
Collene has been a massage therapist since 2003 and she also has a diploma as a sports injury therapist. She use a variety of techniques, most of which involve an increased understanding of biomechanics, to relieve muscle tension and increase joint mobility. A moving body is a healthy body. Colleen adapts each treatment to a client’s specific goals or areas of focus, whether you are in pain or simply need to de-stress and relax. This allows for good communication and a client-centered approach to wellness.
Danielle Affeldt, Registered Massage Therapist
Danielle Affeldt RMT has been in practice since 2013. Danielle has worked with clients presenting with various conditions such as sports injuries, postural imbalances, inflammatory arthritis, headaches, HIV+, stress. Danielle has furthered her studies with Reiki: a Japanese form of energy healing.
Danielle practiced Martial Arts for five years and became an Instructor’s Assistant. A background in performance arts allows her a working understanding of how to increase flexibility and muscle strength to reach athletic goals.
Danielle’s areas of strength include relaxation treatments, energy work, and emotional trauma. Danielle is NOT proficient in infant massage, prenatal treatments, or deep tissue work.
Marios-Savvas Stavrou, Registered Massage Therapist
Marios graduated from Fleming College in 2004. Has been practicing for 10 years working along side physios and kinesiologists. Main conditions that were treated were Headaches/Migraines, Dizziness, Concussions, Sciatica and Fibromyalgia. Marios loves to focus on tight fascia and muscles along the spine thus relieving any local pain or referral patterns in the extremities. With Esalen Deep Tissue, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release and Swedish Massage he has you covered.
Rosanne Gross, Registered Massage Therapist
Rosanne was born and raised in Kitchener. A Massage Therapist since 2003 (graduated Sir Sandford Fleming College Peterborough). She has worked in both Spa and Clinic environments, with her passion being treatment based Massage. Rosanne specializes in Neck, Shoulder and Upper Limb Injuries. She has continued education in Mobilisations, Deep tissue, Myofascial Release, and Pilates. She also has beginner level training for Acupressure and Reflexology.
Betty McCabe, Registered Massage Therapist
Betty was inspired to become a massage therapist after seeing the healing effects when a family friend gave massage therapy to her Grandparents. She also received treatments that throughout her life that helped her recover from overuse and repetitive strain injuries. Betty graduated from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2008. Betty uses a gentle approach so as not to cause a rebound effect in the muscle tissue and then gradually works deeper as each layer of muscle relaxes. She likes to use hot therapies such as heating pads and hot stones to increase circulation into tired muscles, ease tension and provide a calming effect. She has taken special courses in Myofascial Evaluation, Reflexology, Pregnancy Massage and Hot Stone Massage.
Paula Carl, Registered Massage Therapist
Paula has been practicing for 4 years and during that time has treated a wide variety of clients and ailments. Growing up, she was an athlete. When an injury took her out of sports she decided to become an RMT during the injury recovery process. Having experienced chronic pain for most of her adult life she has a great understanding of the client’s point of view. She helps them become an advocate for their own healing.
Cassandra Simpson, Registered Massage Therapist
Cassandra has been practicing massage therapy since 2015 and her goal is to help clients feel the best they possibly can in their bodies and maintain it by utilizing various techniques including General Swedish massage techniques, Myofascial release, Massage Cupping, Trigger Point therapy, Stretching and Joint mobilizations and many more. She also believes in the importance of educating clients about why and what she is treating and how they can enhance the impact of their treatments with remedial exercise and other home care.
Caralyn Anderson, Registered Massage Therapist
Caralyn graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2018, her focus is the overall wellbeing of her clients. Using a variety of different techniques, she targets both acute and chronic conditions, including sports injuries, manual lymph drainage, sprains and strains, and much more. Working to get her clients on a stable treatment plan focused on maintaining a pain free daily life.
