Valentina Ignatenko, Registered Massage Therapist

I have been practicing Registered Massage Therapist since graduating from the Wellspring College of Massage Therapy (Toronto) in 2011. I was drawn to a profession in massage therapy because of my caring personality, and over the years have felt so grateful to be able to spend my days creating a positive impact on the clients I see for treatment, it’s been such a fulfilling blessing.

Some of the elements I find most beneficial during treatment are trigger point therapy, relaxation, stretching techniques and deep tissue work. My years of experience treating clients for a wide range of issues including general wear and tear of the body, repetitive strain injuries, prenatal and postpartum, and post-surgery, injury and accident, have given me the tools and knowledge to provide the highest level of care to each of my clients and provide them with the best path the achieving their health and wellness goals.

I am passionate about my own health and wellness journey and believe my greatest teachers are the clients that come into my treatment room daily. I am grateful to offer my services in this beautiful community, and whether you enjoy a massage for its therapeutic benefits - targeting chronic areas of discomfort, injury, or rehabilitation - or simply enjoy the time for relaxation and stress relief, I look forward to helping you meet those goals.

Gabriel L., Registered Massage Therapist

As an enthusiast of sports and physical activities, I know too well the world of injuries and pains. Playing and competing in various sports such as Jiu-Jitsu, BJJ, MMA football and being an avid runner along with being a gym enthusiast, I know firsthand how injuries and discomforts prevent us from doing the things we love.

From working as a personal trainer for 5 years, to now being a recent graduate from Algonquin's Massage therapy Program (2024) and a graduate of the fitness and health program from Algonquin in 2018, I have accumulated a vast array of experiences in the fitness and health industry. From personal training to now massage therapy, combining the various experiences from the various fields, my objective is helping people live pain free through massage therapy and using my previous experiences and continued learning as pathway to help clients live pain free.

Everyone should have the opportunity to live and do the things they want without pain or discomfort. As I like to say, Movement is medicine.

Cody Woods, Registered Massage Therapist

Cody has been pushing the limits of anatomy and physiological output long before his years as a Massage Therapist in attempt to maximize peak strength, endurance and mobility. Having over a decade of experience working with professional athletes and weekend warriors, he understands deeply the desire felt to get back to full potential performance after injury.

Completing his Advanced Diploma of Massage Therapy and spending a majority of his career in London, Ontario, he gravitated to treating in prominent Physiotherapy environments while working in a larger scale of multidisciplinary healthcare services before spending 2 years treating in Queenstown, New Zealand. These environments provided him invaluable expertise in pre/post operative care, motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, and sports science with the later in the more extreme domains of downhill mountain biking, mountaineering and ultra trail running.

As an athlete, Cody grew up skateboarding, biking tough trails and long-distance cycling turning to the practice of Ashtanga yoga to counteract the injuries acquired along the way before pushing hypertrophy in bodybuilding and gaining strength in the realms of powerlifting. His current goal has him venturing into the world of ultra sports. (Thanks’ New Zealand).

Cody applies his own trail and error knowledge along side clinical research to provide the best possible treatment outcomes whether you are looking to improve existing performance or get back to the activities you’re passionate about.

“I help people become more functional and move with increased efficiency. Techniques are a dime a dozen. Results are achieved but understanding the dysfunction and / or identifying the desired outcome, then implementing a treatment plan that works with their body. I gravitate to the use of myo-fascial, active and passive release and IASTM but this is my no means the limitations of my ability as a Massage Therapist.” ~ Cody Woods, RMT
