Tara Easthope, Registered Massage Therapist

Tara has been working and volunteering in the medical field for over two decades, starting off managing and assisting in the Activation and Dietary Departments at Senior Living Residences during her high-school education as well as her post-secondary education at Toronto School of Business. After obtaining her Medical Assistant Diploma, she immediately went on to managing patients in a medical office which housed thirteen Family Doctors.

Tara was introduced to Massage Therapy through a recovery regimen after she suffered a stress fracture to her femur right above the kneecap.  She was awed by the newfound strength Massage Therapy provided to her healing.  At that moment a passion began inside her and she realized that Massage Therapy was the career she had always been looking for.  Tara went on to complete a 2200hr Massage Therapy course through The Institute of Complementary and Alternative Therapy and has been Registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2014. She is still in love with the profession and the healing power it can give to others:

There are numerous aspects and benefits of Massage Therapy that I love.  Being able to be a contributor to a patient's recovery process (whether it be Stress, Injury, Post-Surgery, Sleep Deprivation, etc.) has been marvelously rewarding to me.  That level of personal involvement continues to inspire me to learn a broader array of techniques and modalities; this in turn leads to larger scale advancements in my patient's health and overall well-being.
