Our Registered Acupuncturists
Kanchana (Kathy) T., R. Ac
Kathy originally learned Thai massage in Chiang Mai Thailand in 2009. She then got her 2,200 hour diploma for orthopedic massage therapy at Turner institute in 2016. And still furthered her education for a diploma in acupuncture and acupressure at Reeves college in 2018. Kathy wants her clients to know why acupuncture works: “It maximizes the natural healing mechanism of our body by the stimulation of biometric energy; therefore, it can reduce pain and correct body imbalances.” She is gentle and will come up with the right treatment plan for you. Sometimes she will incorporate cupping with her acupuncture treatments. You can also book Kathy for a massage and acupuncture combination treatment! Her interests include cooking, travelling and meditation.
Mi Ra L., R. Ac
Mi Ra graduated from Grant MacEwan University with an Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine certificate. She decided to become an acupuncturist because of the healing concept of the treatment. Acupuncture has been linked to the improvement of pain from arthritis, back pain, neck pain, muscle pain, migraines and much more! She hopes to provide long-lasting results with her treatment plan for her patients. If cupping is needed, she’ll incorporate it in her treatments. She enjoys the outdoors and nature.
