Nam Shykes, Registered Massage Therapist
Nam graduated from the Peerless Training Institute. He is an active member of the Certified Registered Massage Therapist Association (CRMTA). Nam became a massage therapist so he can help people recover from pain. He was a combat medic in the US Army, and after leaving the Army, he really wanted to continue in a career that gives him the opportunity to continue helping others. Being a massage therapist gives him the opportunity to continue to help others heel and feel better.
He is trained in Swedish massage, Relaxation massage, Deep tissue and Lymphatic drainage massage (MLD). When Nam is not working, he loves to spend time with his kids and also loves being outdoors hiking, fishing, camping with his family. He also loves gaming occasionally.
Chandra Soron, Registered Massage Therapist
Chandra graduated from CDI college in 2018 with 2200 hrs diploma and is an active member of the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta. Chandra believes that healing and health is embodied in the mind and the body. She was a tattoo artist for the first half of her career and became a massage therapist in the second half of her career so that she can help people heal and connect their mind and body through massage.
Chandra mixes different massage modalities to help clients with different areas of focus. She is trained in trigger point release, relaxation massage, MFR (myofascial release), sprain/strain, chair massage and prenatal massage. She likes to focus on activating the parasympathetic nervous system to harness its undeniable benefits. She avoids the “no pain no gain” pressure theory unless asked for and she can introduce deeper pressure gradually as required.
When Chandra is not working, she enjoys tattooing.
Angel Torres, Registered Massage Therapist
Angel graduated from Makami college in 2019. He became a massage therapist because he loves to help better and see the feel better after a treatment session. He is trained in Swedish massage, Relaxation massage and Deep tissue.
He is an active member of the Certified Registered Massage Therapy Association in Alberta. When he is not working, he likes to spend time with his family and volunteers his time and resources to those in need.
Levi Mayoralgo, Registered Massage Therapist
Levi is a graduate of the 2200-hour program at the Evolve College Massage Therapy based out of Winnipeg, MB. He has been a practicing massage therapy since 2019 and has recently moved to Calgary.
He loves meeting new people and is very passionate about helping out people when he can. He loves helping his clients through the use of various massage techniques. He specializes in therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, cupping, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). Other techniques he is trained in are Swedish massage and joint mobilizations. He incorporates these techniques along with orthopaedic assessment to allow for proper rehabilitation of acute or chronic issues.
Outside of massage therapy, Levi's passions are being active through various activities, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Mei ju (May) Qin, Registered Massage Therapist
Mei graduated in 2015 and is a Registered 2200hr Massage Therapist . She has practiced Traditional Chinese Massage and Western Massage since 2012 in Calgary . Her professionalism and knowledge of the 12 Channels of acupuncture that maintain the body's balance, enable her deliver consistent quality health care to every single client.
Her primary areas of interest are circulation problems , low blood pressure ,cold hands and feet, muscle cramps, headaches and insomnia. She is trained in acupressure, swedish massage, therapeutic massage, sports massage, deep tissue, cupping, hot stone massage and reflexology modalities. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking and relaxing.
Jaspreet Kaur, Registered Massage Therapist
Jaspreet is a 2200hr registered massage therapist from Makami College and became a registered therapist with CRMT in Nov 2022. Before moving to Calgary, Jaspreet worked as a Nurse in her home country and really enjoyed helping people get better, so she became a registered massage therapist so that she can continue to help people with their pain in Canada.
She is trained in swedish massage, therapeutic massage, deep tissue, sports massage, chair massage, cupping, and hot stone massage. When she is not working, she enjoys listening to music, watching movies, reading books and learning new skills.
