Scott Patak, Registered Massage Therapist

Scott has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) for just over 7 years and is a co-owner of the Brantford Massage Addict. He was class Valedictorian from the Canadian Therapeutic College (CTC) in 2008 and soon after became a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Scott continued his studies under Barry Jenings (Osteopath), training in the protocol of Structural Integration. This is a 10 session body of work, primarily focusing on MyoFascial Release (MFR) to realign the body’s posture. He believes that through correcting our posture, we end up improving Range of Motion of joints and decreasing everyday stubborn pain. Scott can combine MFR within any treatment sessions to help eliminate pain. He has worked at rehab clinics helping people overcome Motor Vehicle Accidents, WSIB claims and common aches and pains. Scott has also spent 3 years working and training other RMT’s in a spa setting. By using a combination of techniques: trigger point, MFR, hydrotherapy, deep tissue, relaxation, hot stones, prenatal and others; Scott will provide you with a treatment plan to help each client achieve their goal in a relaxing and comforting environment.

Alexander (Alex) Mantle, Registered Massage Therapist

Alex is a graduate of the Mohawk College Massage Therapy Program as well a Lakehead University Graduate of their Kinesiology program. Through his years in education, he has learned that proper assessment and testing will allow him to prescribe the most effective treatment plans to each of his clients. His passion for anatomy and physical well-being were key factors in his decision to become an RMT. After receiving massage treatments himself for his own injuries, Alex's focus was to help others with their own health concerns, both physically and mentally, allowing his clients to lead fuller, healthier lives. Alex performs the optimal treatments according to each of his clients' specific needs. He includes a wide variety of modalities including Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy and Swedish Massage.

Shawn Sandhu, Registered Massage Therapist

Shawn graduated in 2012 from Georgian College's 3 year program and has spent the past few years practicing in Alberta, working at 4 diamond resorts in the heart of the Rockies, as well as clinics in Calgary. Shawn has now moved back home to continue treating his clients in Brantford. Specialized in a gentle, but deep tissue massage called 'NISA' (Neuromuscular integrated structural alignment). Working with the connective tissue of the body it helps retrain postural imbalances and release old patterns but can also be incredibly relaxing as well.
