Our Registered Acupuncturists
Darya Alistratenko, R. Ac
Having been exposed to herbal medicine and alternative healing modalities through parents and grandparents, I developed a strong sense of respect for many different forms of folk and traditional healing systems as well as the power of intuitive and self-healing practices. Raised to be an outdoorsy child, I still consider nature and wilderness my best friends, healers and second home.
Interest in learning about inner workings of the body-mind led me to learn Ayurvedic practices and Yoga studies. Turned to yoga in 2006 and meditation practice since 2013 and haven’t looked back ever since. It helps me stay grounded, present and open to the world.
In search of a new career after teaching yoga for a few years, I came across a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner Program and applied without hesitation.
I am excited to share and utilize my theoretical and practical knowledge to help people attune themselves to the harmonious mind-body relationship and tap into their own healing abilities. If I am not practicing Chinese Medicine, teaching yoga or meditation classes, you can catch me exploring new trails, caring for animals and cooking some healthy recipes.
