Gene Nillas, Registered Massage Therapist
 
Gene’s passion for helping people began when he was a young boy in the Phillipines.  He dreamt of becoming a health care professional and was enrolled in the College of Optometry in preparation to pursue Medicine.  When an abrupt life event resulted in a move to Canada with his family in 1979, he struggled to find fulfilling work until he enrolled in a Massage Therapy Program at the age of 50. Gene graduated in 2012 and has flourished as a sought after Registered Massage Therapist ever since. Gene is well versed in Swedish Massage Techniques, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Hydrotherapy Applications, Joint Mobilizations & PNF Stretching. He believes in guiding each patient through breathing exercises, ensuring their understanding of the value of diaphragmatic breathing.  Gene encourages patients to follow through with their remedial home care exercises to ensure ongoing healing and wellness. 

Luke Stott, Registered Massage Therapist

Luke is a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Luke's involvement and passion for massage therapy began after  he was involved in a few MVA's that left  him with various injuries which required extensive therapy throughout recovery. Since he began his training he has had the privilege to work with organizations such as Canucks Place Children's Hospice, Friends For Life, as well as the multiple sclerosis in-reach program through WCCMT. Luke treats patients for conditions related to MVA's, repetitive strain injuries, sprains, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, stress reduction, and general relaxation. His goal is to help any client achieve overall wellness and pain free range of motion.  He ensures they receive a specific treatment plan to meet their needs.  

Bernie Bantugan, Registered Massage Therapist

Bernie Bantugan is a Registered Massage Therapist and graduate of Vancouver Career College. He is well versed in assessing a patient’s clinical presentation, medical history and preferred outcome. His approach to massage is holistic and focuses each sessions to treat the patient’s needs. Bernie is fully trained in deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, myofascial release, stretching, home exercises and several other techniques. He enjoys helping people to recover from all kinds of conditions and injuries as well as achieving optimum health and wellness.
