Our Licensed Chiropractors
Dr Chris Almas, Licensed Chiropractor
Dr. Chris graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2003. However he transformed his approach to patient care after completing a sebbatical in 2017, when he studied in great detail, the 21 Buddhist Meditation Techniques for anxiety & depression and Sadhguru's Inner Engineering program for regaining control of our minds through the meditative process. Dr. Chris recognizes both the emotional and physical causes of pain and offers solutions for both.
We all know that stress is stored in our muscles and can produce all kinds of pain and disease. But so too can fear, anxiety, worry, anger and depression, just to name a few of the toxic emotions that contribute to back pain, neck pain, headaches and most auto immune disorders we suffer from. Our current emotional state and our past emotional traumas, have a direct impact on our health.
Within your treatment sessions, Dr. Chris will combine hands on chiropractic adjustments with trigger point therapy (deep tissue), and heavy eccentric loading exercises in order to restore your physical health.
However, for those that are open to it, he also provides instructions for guided meditation exercises and numerous affirmation programmes to strengthen the mind and restore the peace within your mind and consequently WITHIN YOUR BODY.
Ever notice when you are happy it doesn't hurt as much?
