Gisella Vera S. Registered Massage Therapist
Gisella is a caring committed RMT originally from Ecuador, where she practiced her profession as a speech therapist for more than 8 years. She moved to Canada and worked with a non-profit organization supporting people with developmental and physical disabilities. This experience remains close to her heart.
Gisella graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH), where she learned a variety of techniques such as Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish & Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, and Trigger Point. She is also trained in Reiki - Shoden - first degree.
During her time at CCMH she was involved in Chronic Pain and Neurologic Outreach Clinics treating clients with diverse conditions such as fibromyalgia, scoliosis and MS.
She can communicate in Spanish or English and her priority is to understand her patient’s needs and combine her skills and gentle approach to support them in their journey to wellness.
Gisella is passionate about how important it is to listen to our bodies, to slow down and take care of ourselves. She is eager to meet you and to help you to design the treatment that you need to attain your goals.
Chris (Shep) Sheppard, Registered Massage Therapist
Shep is a graduate from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in Halifax, Nova Scotia. During his time at the College, he focused on pregnancy and sport massage during his outreach clinics.
Shep, while having gentle and steady hands making him a natural with lymphatic drainage and TMJ massage, prefers performing deep tissue and sport massages. Reading the body like braille, Shep knows when a heavy or light touch is required. This means treating the source of your musculoskeletal problems, not just the symptoms.
Shep is also very active with weight resistance and cardio training giving him the upper hand in human kinetics. This enables him to give you the best take home stretching and strengthening protocols to accelerate your recovery time.

Breanna Kelsey, Registered Massage Therapist
Breanna is a graduate from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH). During her time there she focused on treating neurological conditions and enhanced care. Working with conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis and more. She is also a member in good standing with the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS).
Breanna treated other conditions during her time at CCMH such as Chronic low back pain, tension headaches and migraines, strains, sprains, TMJ Dysfunction, pregnancy, patellofemoral syndrome, Sciatica/pififormis syndrome, OA and many more.
She volunteered at the Blue Nose marathon, Limelight Dance competition, Aids Walk, Alzhiemers walk treating volunteers as well as the walkers/runners/dancers.
Breanna thrives on learning new ways to help heal ourselves and promote overall good health. Massage Therapy has afforded Breanna the opportunity to expand her knowledge in natural healing allowing her to share it with her clients.

Leanne Kennedy, Registered Massage Therapist
As a Registered Massage Therapist and a member of MTANS Leanne Kennedy’s focus has been promoting patient health and education. Originally from a small town in Ontario, she now resides in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia. She has completed the 2200 Massage Therapy program at The Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in Halifax. During her college career, Leanne treated patients in a variety of community clinics for sports, arthritis, addictions and a clinic for people with neurological conditions.
She encourages increasing functionality through strength training & stretches through home care to gain the best possible results. The techniques she specializes in are cupping, sports taping and jade stone massage. She has completed an anterior thoracic & breast massage course to help with post-surgical scars, tissue congestion, tissue trauma, as well as pre & post-natal breast discomfort. Patients suffering from TMJD, constipation, decreased range of motion, and c-section scar complications have had positive changes from her treatments. Her volunteer experience includes the Dragon Boat Festival, the Bluenose Marathon, MFRC events and dance competitions.
Leanne’s background includes experience with martial arts, dragon boat racing, team spots and other outdoor activities. It is due to her experiences that she promotes wellness and focuses on injury prevention through education. She also teaches a Jade Stone workshop so other RMTs can use it in their practice. Leanne’s greatest skill is her natural ability of making her patients feel comfortable by establishing great communication and trust with the intention provide the best treatment possible.

Madison Burke, Registered Massage Therapist
Madison is a graduate from Canadian college of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH). During her time there, she focused on treating different types of musculoskeletal injuries as well as arthritis conditions. Madison has treated conditions such as low back pain, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis p, sciatica, osteoarthritis and many more with amazing results.
Having a gentle approach to the body, Madison listens to the body as well as her patient to ensure an effective and relaxing treatment. Madison has a passion for learning about different ways to heal ourselves and promote new ways to create healthy habits. Massage therapy has given Madison a way to expand her knowledge and passion for a natural approach to the body that she is excited to share with her patients.

Erika Jefferies, Registered Massage Therapist
Erika is an honours graduate from the Eastern College 2200 hour Massage Therapy program. Erika understands that every client has unique challenges and preferences. She prides herself on being able to connect with each individual client through “listening” to the body and facilitating open and easy communication.
Erika’s clinical approach involves integrating elements from Swedish massage, using moderate to deep tissue pressure, trigger point release, and assisted stretches to pinpoint and work through issues. She has had the opportunity to work with many conditions such as early to late stage pregnancy, Multiple Sclerosis, piriformis syndrome, sciatica and tension headaches.
Erika is particulary interested in increasing her skills and knowledge in modalities with cupping, Craniosacral, manual lymph drainage and Myofascial Release.
Erika is a dedicated, determined and positive therapist who not only loves helping clients during the treatment but also strives to educate clients on how to help themselves after they leave the treatment room!

Alex Murphy Registered Massage Therapist
Alex graduated from Eastern College in Halifax with distinction. He has also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from Saint Francis Xavier University. During his time at Eastern College, Alex was able to expand his knowledge and allowed him to become comfortable treating conditions such as MS, tension headaches, and sprains/strains, to name a few. In addition, outreaches provided Alex with real life experience that focused on athletes and sports related conditions. Alex’s calming and gentle vibe makes him ideal to help relax and unwind from your day. His preference is deep tissue and trigger point release but will work with the client to determine if a deep or softer pressure is required, making sure the treatment plan is specifically suited for that client. As an athlete himself, Alex understands the importance of getting back to what you love to do, and looks forward to helping you both set and reach those goals.
Dominic Pautel, Registered Massage Therapist
Dominic graduated from Northumberland College with fine point skills in treating muscular imbalances, he also has the innate ability to access and target fascial restrictions with ease. Dominic has discovered an interest in Cranial Sacral therapy and has experienced the positive effects of these techniques first hand during his outreach. He looks forward training this very specific skill set in addition to his light touch and relaxation based treatments, while creating a Zen and stress free environment. Enthusiastic to use other skills as well, Dominic is capable of Deep Tissue work with a mix of sports related Active Release Techniques, which is very helpful in facilitating proper muscular function and tissue health.
Dominic is confident he will aid in the rehabilitation of injuries, while bringing awareness to clients on how to prevent future injury. He will guide his clients to increase stability and circulation to all areas, keeping the body functioning at maximum capacity through proper stretching and strengthening exercises.

Wing Yan Lee (Connie), Registered Massage Therapist
Connie graduated from Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy (CCMH), Halifax Campus in 2019. She is a member in good standing with Massage Therapists' Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS). Connie is well trained in the following areas, Swedish Massage with special techniques in superficial myofascial release, peripheral joint mobilization, manual lymph drainage, abdominal massage, passive angular stretching, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, myofascial trigger points, cross fiber frictions. She also specialized trained in anterior ribcage & breast massage, Thai hand & foot reflexology massage, scar tissue workshop, Jade Stone Massage, the same as cupping.
She speaks English, Cantonese & Mandarin Chinese. Connie will develop a treatment plan that will fit your lifestyle and help keep you motivated and attain your goals. She looks forward to treating you!
Karen Corsetti, Registered Massage Therapist
Karen has over 12 years experience as a massage therapist. Her dream of one day helping people in this way begin while she was a nursing care assistant at a local animal hospital. Her compassion and caring for others led her into the field of massage therapy and she graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2006. Since then she has been an active member in good standings with MTANS. Karen is comfortable in Swedish Relaxation massage and will tailor treatment plans for each individual client. She is a dedicated massage therapist and is excited to be a member of the Massage Addict team.

Dwaine Campbell, Registered Massage Therapist
Dwaine is an RMT who graduated Eastern College 2200 Hrs Massage Therapy program in February 2020 with Honors .He worked in healthcare for almost a decade where his passion for assisting clients to achieve a feeling of health and wellness lead him to massage therapy. Dwaine learned a variety of treatment options that can be placed into treatment plans to fit the clients goal. Some examples of these treatment options are: Relaxation massages ,Myofascial Techniques , Deep Tissue, Joint Mobilization and working on active trigger points, in which he excelled.
Dwaine is a calming relaxed person who’s dedication and determination for the clients health and wellness along with his ability to accurately pin point treatment options and problem areas, will help him tailor a precise treatment plan to aid in living your optimal lifestyle.
