With that being said, I also love providing a moment of relaxation and stress-relief to anyone in need. My main form of therapy is therapeutic Swedish massage, and I make a point to provide remedial exercises and home care to my clients so they are able to prolong the benefits of each treatment in between appointments. Healthcare has always been something I was very interested in I just didn’t know which path I would take. I enjoy medium to deep pressure massages while keeping clients in a relaxed state throughout I enjoy treating any area of tension and pain but my favorite areas to treat would be lower back or lower body. New challenges excite me and that’s why I think I have such a passion for massage. In the field of massage I’m always learning something new and my brain is always working. I am also currently attending UNB and am almost done my kinesiology degree. hope that this will help benefit my work in the clinic. I am very excited to start this new journey at Massage Addict.
Ava Brown, Registered Massage Therapist
I have been practicing massage therapy for just over 10 years now, and couldn't be happier that I get to do what I love so much every work day. The last decade has taught me so much about massage and the way our bodies work. my first 3 years of practice were in a spa, where I gained knowledge of reflexology techniques, essential oils, as well as techniques to help balance energy in the body. From there, I began self employment, where I learned more about chronic pain, sports injuries, deep tissue treatments, and fascial restrictions. The majority of my mot recent training has been in fascial work, and my main focus of TMJ Dysfunction. Whether you are dealing daily with a painful condition, in need of escape from a stressful week, or a tune-up before your next athletic event, I invite you to book in with me and see if my work can work for you.
I have training in: TMJ Dysfunction, Anatomy Trains (fascial techniques), Deep tissue massage, chronic pain, prenatal massage, Manual Lymph Drainage, reflexology techniques, Indian Head Massage, Essential oils, hot stone massage,... and so much more!!!
