Maggie McGriskin, R. Ac   

Maggie was born and raised in small town Lindsay, Ontario, and moved to Halifax in 2017. She graduated from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine with a Diploma of Acupuncture in 2021. She previously graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 2015. Maggie has had a long time fascination with body mechanics, and is a natural problem solver. She focuses on gentle needling techniques to minimize potential discomfort and maximize healing. She believes that comfort and relaxation are an important part of any treatment. Maggie can treat a variety of conditions and has particular interest using acupuncture to help relieve chronic pain, stress and anxiety, digestive issues, and menstrual irregularities. Maggie’s aim for every client is to help them live their best life! Maggie is a member in good standing with ATCMANS.

Jin Bao, Dr. TCM   

Jin Bao is an experienced Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncturist and herbalist, with over 10+ years experience. Prior to coming to Canada, Jin led a successful career as a doctor in China. He graduated from Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in 2009 and received a Master's degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Jin continues to support the growth of the this field here in Canada as a clinic supervisor for students at the CCATCM school in the city. He is a member in good standing of CMAAC.
 
Jin uses various techniques including acupuncture, acupuncture point massage, cupping, and guasha, along with informed home care recommendations on diet and lifestyle to treat and support his clients. He is passionate about creating specific treatment plans for each client and helping them toward their health care goals. He has experience supporting clients who have suffered from conditions such as frozen shoulder, arthritis, and various soft tissue injuries like sprains/strains and joint discomfort in the back, neck and wrists. He has also supported clients experiencing GI issues, circulatory issues, sleeping challenges and a variety of other physical, mental and emotional concerns. Jin is excited to help you toward feeling your best.
