Katie Mury, Registered Massage Therapist

I graduated from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in April 2019. In good standing with Massage Therapists Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS). Completing my massage therapy education has given me a different perspective on health and wellness. I am honored to be a part of someone’s journey of healing and take great care to ensure each and every client feels well cared for. I have volunteered for various sports and wellness events as well as specialized clinics including pregnancy, neurological, HIV/AIDS, mental health and nursing home chair massage over my two years studying. Samantha Guthrie, Registered Massage Therapist

Graduate of CCMH 2200hr Program in 2012 and in good standing with MTWPAM. I have been in practice for 7 years focusing primarily on rehabilitation of injuries, scar tissue and postural correction. I find the most important part of practice teaching your patient how to continue their care at home so I am always sure to include remedial exercises in my treatment.

Kim Becker,  Registered Massage Therapist

Member of MTANS. I graduated from Eastern College Halifax, N.S. I believe that treatments should be unique and personalized to each individual. I focus on treating trigger points due to their contribution to the aches and pains we experience on a daily basis. Stress and pain relief is a main focus of my massage technique, working with clients to provide deep relaxation during treatment.

Sheena Boucher, Registered Massage Therapist

Sheena completed the 2200 hour Massage Therapy program at ICT Northumberland College and graduated in July 2004. Over the course of Sheena’s 15 year career she has worked at various locations across Canada. Working alongside Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, and various other practitioners has helped increase her overall comprehension of treatment, passion for health care and the healing process. Much of her work is focused around Athletic Massage, Myofascial Release, Deep Swedish Massage, and Myofascial Trigger Points. Sheena treats clients with the intention that Massage Therapy can benefit everyone on many levels. Her treatments aim at reducing stress and soft tissue tension. She focuses on easing muscular and joint pain, assisting in the healing of sports injuries, and treating over-use syndromes and postural dysfunction. Sheena uses a variety of techniques to treat TMJ dysfunction, whiplash, headaches and many other acute and chronic conditions. She also has advanced training in Pre and post-natal massage, stretching techniques and home care exercises.

Sheena is extremely excited to be back in her home province. In her free time she enjoys teaching and performing Cape Breton Step Dance, playing traditional fiddle, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with her family. Sheena looks forward to giving back to the community with her skills as a Massage Therapist.
