Tsion Tsega, Registered Massage Therapist
Tsion grew up in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and loves her life in Canada. She loves to help her clients fell better with all kinds of different therapies. Your massage with Tsion will be tailored to your problematic areas and she wants all her clients to feel pain relief and have great mobility. She loves to travel with her family and enjoys life in Western Canada.
Cherryl Balceda, Registered Massage Therapist
Cherryl was born in the Philippines, a country that she is so proud of! She worked in Japan for 3 years and loved living with different cultures and languages. Cherryl enjoys working with people and is driven to offer clients the most effective and safest care possible and wants each client to feel comfortable and at ease. Cherryl can treat clients with a wide variety of conditions such as Musculoskeletal Injury, Condition of Peripheral Nervous System, Postural Dysfunction by using variety of techniques such as Swedish and Non Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point released, Relaxation, Hydrotherapy and Stretching.
Eliana Sanchez, Registered Massage Therapist
Eliana was born in Lima, Peru. She was a kindergarten teacher for more than 18 years and has developed the capacity to understand what clients need and what is best for them. Eliana was the first student to her practicum at Massage Addict Sunridge! Once she completed her 2200 hours, she was hired on immediately. Eliana is always looking to implement new techniques to her repertoire to provide a higher level of relaxation. She specializes in hot stone, cupping, deep tissue and stretching techniques.
Sangeeta Gupta, Registered Massage Therapist
Sangeeta completed her Bachelors in Ayurvedic Medicines and Surgery in India.She practiced as a physician for many years using herbal medicines, panchkarma therapies, yoga, meditation and Ayurvedic life style. When she arrived in Canada she decided to study massage therapy and to use the same holistic approach in my treatments. Sangeeta practices various modalities like cupping and hot stone and her skills include Swedish relaxation massage, therapeutic massage, myofascial release and prenatal massage.
Continuing her education, Sangeeta has successfully completed the certification of kinetic massage for neck, shoulder and hip joints that incorporates joint movements along with various massage strokes. This helps to attain better range of motion and to reduce muscle tension. Your treatment sessions would be planned according to your needs.
Ian Morales, Registered Massage Therapist
Ian was a former banker and a restaurant manager that was born and raised in the Philippines. In pursue of greener pastures and better future for his family, they moved to Canada and arrived as landed immigrants in 2013. Having to start from scratch, Ian utilized his skills in cooking and his vast experience in customer service to work on various jobs until deciding to pursue a different career. He chose to be a massage therapist because it enables him to help other people and still have time to take care of his family. A self confessed "massage addict" himself, Ian went to ABM College and completed 2355-hours of the massage therapy program and was immediately hired as the student clinic supervisor after his graduation.
Ian uses wide range of techniques to loosen muscles and connective tissues to help decrease pain, address dysfunctions and reduce tension. He always incorporate stretching in his massage sessions. He specializes in deep tissue massage, myofascial release and stretching but also likes to do relaxation and sports massage. He structures his treatment base on what the client wants and needs. He is continually trying to learn other modalities like cupping and hot stone among others in order to help him in his practice.
He speaks Tagalog, Bisaya (southern Filipino dialect) and English. On his spare time, he loves to cook and listen to music. He keeps himself fit by going to the gym as much as he can to work out.
Elizabeth Misker, Registered Massage Therapist
Elizabeth was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. After she came to Calgary she worked as unit clerk under Calgary health region, seeing patients suffer from stress in day to day life made her think to become a massage therapist so she went to CDI college & graduated as advanced clinical massage therapy, so that she can help people relieve stress, tension & pain. Elizbeth loves her profession & is satisfied when her clients leave feeling much better than they did when they first came. Elizabeth is great at finding the right pressure with every client. She is skilled in full body relaxation Swedish massage, deep tissue, and myofascial release.
On her off time, she loves to spend time with family & friends, and going to the gym whenever possible to keep herself healthy. Swimming & listening instrumental music are her favorite things to do.
Virginia Ubaldo, Registered Massage Therapist
Virginia was born and raised in the Philippines.She is from a farming family in Northern Luzon. Virginia has faced many challenges in her life especially working in a foreign country like Malaysia and Hong Kong as a nanny or domestic helper. She has adjust herself about the differences of each traditions , awareness and understanding of a person’s culture. Her passion is helping others and is dedicated to reducing pain , stress or simply providing relaxation treatment. She is very strong and Virginia's treatments always in include a beautiful face massage, head and feet!
Jeff Dejos, Registered Massage Therapist
Jeff was born in the Philippines but has immigrated to Calgary as a young child back in 2005. Living in Canada for more than half of his life, he has already integrated the different cultures within his personal lifestyle. He studied double major in Biological Science and Music in University of Calgary. After 2 years, Jeff felt the need for a different path and decided to try something else. Thus, he attended and fully completed the 2355-hours Massage Therapy program in ABM College.
Throughout his practice as a therapist, Jeff uses a variety of techniques to achieve the desired outcomes from each treatments. Other than relaxation and sports massage, he specializes mostly in Trigger Point therapy, static compression and deep tissue massage. He also incorporates Orthopedic stretches and exercises within his treatments to cater the physical needs of the client's body. On top of his current skills and knowledge, he continues to learn various techniques and modalities such as dynamic cupping to enhance the quality of his service.
He speaks Tagalog, Bisaya and English. Outside of work, he enjoys being creative through his passion for music. He also spends most of his time
serving in church and in SFC.
Nisreen Fares, Registered Massage Therapist
Nisreen is a graduate of CDI College’s Massage Therapy & Advanced Massage Therapy programs. She completed the program in the summer of 2019. She enjoys assisting her clients in the healing process of the body while focusing on their concerns at the same time. Whether it is relaxation or deep tissue, she’s able to work to what you desire in your treatment.
Nisreen also has a passion for art and makeup. Painting acrylic portraits and doing custom art works are few of the things she likes to do on her spare times.
Melissa Johnson, Registered Massage Therapist
Melissa graduated from Makami College’s Massage Therapy diploma program in April 2017. She decided to become a massage therapist because massage helped her with her back problems, and she wanted to help others feel as good as she did after trying massage. Melissa is trained in deep tissue, relaxation, hot-stone therapy, cupping and prenatal. During treatment, she likes to focus in on specific areas to help the body relax. In her spare time, she likes to paint, do puzzles, cook and bake, go camping and spend time with her pets.
Kate Jones, Registered Massage Therapist
Kate holds certifications in Swedish relaxation massage, Holistic Reflexology, Reiki and Abyanga massage since 2008. Most recently re-certification in advanced Clinical massage therapy in the 3000 hour program through Makami college brought new skills and client care possibilities to the mix.
With 12 years of bodywork and massage experience Kate has a love for meeting new clients, addressing postural and flexibility issues and treating the mind body connection. Kate specializes in Swedish relaxation. Therapeutic massage, Prenatal massage and Hot stone therapy. For Kate massage is approached as a whole body reset with passive stretching and suggestions for self care an important part of every session.
Kate's hobbies include camping, coaching dance and performance art, Vinyasa yoga and raising kind, socially conscious children.
Walt Nielsen, Registered Massage Therapist
From growing up on the farm to spending most of his working life in hard labor jobs and emergency medicine, Walt truly understands how the body works and the physical demands that can be put on it. Having always had a passion for massage and helping people, Walt graduated from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in 2019 ready for a full and exciting career. His prime focus lies in deep tissue, therapeutic massage for muscle aches, strains, and spasms, postural imbalance, and accident recovery. He is practiced and proficient in relaxation massage with Swedish and Non-Swedish techniques, as well as hot stone therapy.

Norman Marasigan, Registered Massage Therapist
Norman is a registered massage therapist since February 2020. He finished his 2200 massage therapy program in ABM college where he learned Swedish massage techniques and treatment plans in treating specific clients. He strongly believes that his education and practicum experience equipped him with so many knowledge and expertise in treating people with body pain and making their lives better than ever.
In his spare time, Norman loves travelling, hiking, and watching movies with his family and friends.
Sai Xaykasem, Registered Massage Therapist
Sai completed the Advanced Massage Therapy program at ABM College in February 2020. He strongly believes that his education, clinical practicum, and outreach exposures provided him with enough knowledge and expertise in treating and creating treatment plans for specific clients.
His treatment is a mixture of Swedish and Non-Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Released, Relaxation, Hydrotherapy and Stretching techniques to provide therapeutic and relaxing massages. As an RMT, he is passionate and motivated to help and aid clients experiencing everyday life stress, tension and pain. He strives to achieve natural health healing care for his client with quality treatments.
When not at work Sai enjoys spending time with the family, and going to the gym whenever he can.
Samantha Cochrane, Registered Massage Therapist
Samantha graduated in 2015 from ICT Northumberland College’s 2200-hour massage therapy program. She recently joined our clinic from Nova Scotia and is a current member of MTAA. Samantha specializes in prenatal massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and relaxation treatments. She has a passion for helping people and believes that everyone can benefit from massage, whether that be for relieving chronic pain or the stresses of everyday life. She is always ready to listen to your concerns and give a helping hand.
Outside of work Samantha enjoys travelling, hiking, yoga, and spending time with friends and family.
Dean Manda, Registered Massage Therapist
Dean graduated from ABM College in 2020 and completed 2355 hours of the Massage Therapy Program. He worked as a nurse for almost 10 yrs in the Philippines before moving to Canada. His love and passion to take care of clients who need help to improve their health and physical well-being made him pursue a profession in massage therapy. He is trained to do Swedish Massage, Non-Swedish Massage and Manual deep tissue therapy. He provides full body massage with specialty on neck, shoulders, upper back and lower back pain.
He is a triathlete and he loves swimming, biking and running to stay active. He goes out for hiking and camping during the summer. Whenever his at home, he likes to watch MMA, boxing and basketball during his spare time.
Melodie Steere, Registered Massage Therapist
Melodie graduated from Makami College's 3000 hour massage program in December 2016. She loves to provide massage for her friends and family, who recommended she should become an RMT because of her natural talent. The most gratifying part of massage for her is to see the positive impact of her treatment on her clients, whether it is to unwind, or treat persistent pain. She specializes in pain and tension relief with her use of therapeutic and deep tissue massage. She is also trained in cupping, deep tissue, hot stone, relaxation, pre-natal, and therapeutic massage. In her spare time, Melodie enjoys running, yoga, karaoke, playing bass and guitar, playing video games, and petting animals.
